Why is a Ribbond Scissor used?

Clean cutting: Cuts Ribbond's ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibres with minimal fraying.

Precise trimming: Helps trim the fibre to the required length and width for the clinical case.

Better handling: Helps maintain the fibre's structure during preparation and placement.

Clinical applications: Used when preparing Ribbond for fibre-reinforced composite restorations, periodontal splinting, provisional bridges and certain orthodontic applications.

Why not use ordinary scissors?

Ordinary scissors may crush, fray or distort the fibres, making handling and adaptation more difficult. A dedicated Ribbond scissor is designed to provide a cleaner cut.
